영어면접시 유용한 표현

외국인 면접관의 면접시 인사담당 및 외국인이 직접 당신의 어학수준을 TEST 할 경우가 생깁니다. 어떠한 질문에서든 결코 당황하지 말고 상황에 맞는 답을 적시에 할 수 있어야 합니다.

할 수 있다고 하니 어학에 특별히 자신이 있지 않다면 가능한 한 쉬운 말을 골라 쓰고
천천히 말하는 게 중요합니다.

** 면접관이 말을 너무 빨리 할 때
- I am sorry but I could not catch what you said.
- Would you speak more slowly.
- I am sorry but I did not follow you.

** 면접관의 말을 알아듣기 힘들 때
- May I bag your pardon?

** 면접관의 말을 다시 듣고 싶을 때
- Would you please say again?
- Would you mind speaking once again?
- Could you repeat what you said ?

** 더 자세한 설명을 듣고 싶을 때
- Could you explain that question in more detail?
- Will you explain more specific?

** 면접관에게 당신의 의견을 제시할 때
- Sorry for interrupting you but I would like to tell you onething as it seems you
misunderstood that I have just said
- May I interrupt you to tell something? that could be true but I think…
that is interesting but it seems that …

** 면접관이 당신의 말하는 것을 잘못 이해할 때
- I must explain in a more detail.
- Let me show you in more concrete

** 당신의 이해를 확인하고 싶을 때
- Am I right?
- As far as I understand, you mean your company is trying to make new
overseas business strategies Is that right?

** 면접관의 말에 동의해줄 때
- I agree with you.
- That is what I want to tell you.
- That is right

** 분명하게 대답하기 어려울 때
- Would you let me think about it first for a moment
- Let me ask you to wait for a moment?

** 면접관에게 감사를 표할 때
- Thank you very much for your kind explanation on all points which really
helped me to understand your company.
- Thank you for your offering the opportunity to show who I am and to realize
what you are.
